The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8cx Gen3 and Snapdragon 7c+ Gen3 were officially introduced at the Qualcomm Snapdragon Summit 2021, The Snapdragon 8cx Gen3 is the world’s first 5nm Windows PC platform and enables full-HD gaming at up to 120 FPS, The Snapdragon 7c+ Gen3 was also announced and is designed for Chromebooks and low-power laptops.
Snapdragon 8cx Gen 3 builds on the technology that has transformed the PC industry, delivering high-end experiences with breakthrough performance per watt, immersive camera and audio with enhanced AI acceleration, lightning-fast 5G connectivity, and chip-to-cloud security in thin, fanless systems.

Qualcomm Snapdragon 8cx Gen3 features
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8cx Gen3 features a new and improved cryogenic processor, which includes new premium cores and offers up to 85 percent generation gain over the x86 platform and more than 60 percent more power per watt.
The new Adreno graphics processor offers a 60 percent performance improvement over the previous generation and allows users to play 1080p games at up to 120 FPS.
The 8cx Gen3 also features Spectra ISP, which reduces the device’s boot time by 15 percent compared to the previous generation. It also supports up to one 4K HDR camera and up to an array of four cameras.
The 8cx Gen3 supports Snapdragon X55, X62, and X65 5G modems, which enable speeds of up to 10 Gbps. It also features FastConnect 6900, which supports 6/6E WiFi and 5G/4G LTE connectivity.
