Motorola Moto E40: price and availability
The Moto E40 is priced at Rs 9,499 and will be available in Caron Grey and Pink Clay colour variants. The phone will be available exclusively on Flipkart from October 17.
Motorola Moto E40: specifications
The Moto E40 has a relatively large 6.5-inch IPS LCD screen with HD+ resolution. However, the refresh rate is 90Hz, which is not common in this price range. It also features the octa-core Unisoc Tiger T700 chipset, which is manufactured using 12nm process technology and has six low-powered Cortex-A55 cores and two powerful Cortex-A75 cores. It also features 4GB of RAM.
On the back, there is a triple rear camera with 48MP resolution and four-pixel technology, which is said to offer a quadruple light sensitivity for better low-light shots. The trio of cameras is complemented by a depth sensor and macro lens. The depth sensor allows for portrait shots, while the macro lens lives up to its name by allowing for macro photography.
The Moto E40 also comes with a large 5000mAh battery. The company claims that this battery is enough to last up to 40 hours on a single charge.
Other features of the Moto E40 include a waterproof case and a dedicated microSD card slot. Motorola notes that the device supports up to 1TB of expandable memory. The phone comes with Android 11, and like all other Motorola devices, the Moto E40 offers an almost unchanged Android 11 experience. There’s also a dedicated button on the side to access Google Assistant.
